Infantry Dress Trousers c.1890s
A nice pair of blue dress trousers for an other rank infantryman. Minor moth nip on the red piping on the outer seam of the pant. The buttons are all present and the the pants are marked WD broad arrow. These were worn with the 1876 dress tunic and the 1896 frock. read more
Officer Dress Shoulder Sash
Offered here is a typical soft quality shoulder sash typical of those worn by infantry officers in the late 19th century. These were worn over the left shoulder with 1881 full dress tunics and full length frock coats. No mothing, with its rich crimson colour still preserves and the material without snags. read more
Canadian Issued Tropical Pants
Offered is a set of sand tone khaki drill trousers, not typical of the type issued with summer service dress. This is more suited to warm climate combat wear and is very close to the British issue patterns made in India. A beautiful coin with a pair of marksman in relief, one an artilleryman, the other a rifleman standing next to each other in a congratulatory hand shake as good sportsman. A very attractive pedant issued to participants of the marksmanship competition of 1860. It has an image in relief of and archer on one side with a bow and a soldier with his rifle on the other. In very good condition. On the left side are the figures 1300 - 1500 possibly indicating the range of the particular shoot. read more

Rifle Association Coin for New Brunswick Militia
An unissued shooting award coin for the NB Provincial Rifle Association dating 1866 in its original leather case. In beautiful condition this award has an impressive image of a period militia soldier firing his Snider Enfield in the kneeling position. The RMC Hockey team was raised in 1886 and was well known for its athletic ability. The team was known as the Paladins and had a long standing rivalry with the Queen's University team. The college was bilingual so its acronym was RMC for English and CMR for French.
