USAAF WWII MX-137-A Radar Reflector Screen for Survival Dingy
USAAF WWII MX-137-A. When in use the downed airman would erect the reflector to increase the distance at which life rafts can be picked up by radar. When erected it looks a bit like a broken umbrella! This one is assumed to be mint as it is still sealed inside its packaging – fully labelled/marked although the text is quite hard to read. Packed size is approx. 37x6x4cm. Introduced in 1945. read more
