This set of Binoculars is typical of those manufactured in the US for the Canadian War effort. The American manufacturer marked binoculars and carrier are in great condition and have their neck strap. The leather case is C broad Arrow marked. A WWI 1908 shoulder strap modified into a waist belt to keep the soldiers pants up. In WWI soldiers were issued suspenders for their trousers or leather belts. Web belts for this purpose did not get issued during this war. A similar belt was issued in WWII. read more

48th Highlander WWI era Pipe Banner
Offered is a rare pipe banner to the 48th Highlanders with the Regimental crest on a blue ground and the crest of the clan Fraser on a red ground of silk, the hole being bordered in bullion fringe.
