Another Indian service style pith helmet made in Toronto Canada for an Officer. The unit patch is thought to be 3 VRR. In good condition, but missing the chin strap. Not a common item to Canadians.  read more

Canadian Issue WWI Contract Binoculars

This set of Binoculars is typical of those manufactured in the US for the Canadian War effort. The American manufacturer marked binoculars and carrier are in great condition and have their neck strap. The leather case is C broad Arrow marked. These are essential kit for an officer display as everyone was wither issued one or they were purchased along with a compass.  read more

A WWI 1908 shoulder strap modified into a waist belt to keep the soldiers pants up. In WWI soldiers were issued suspenders for their trousers or leather belts. Web belts for this purpose did not get issued during this war. A similar belt was issued in WWII.  read more

WWI Spare Scope Lens

Offered is an eye piece for a scope for eith an officer or a sniper. These eye pieces were carried in a leather tube attached to a full scope as part of the kit. The ther sleeve is missing its lid, but the slide that would attach to the parent scope strap is present. 48th Highlander WWI era Pipe Banner

Offered is a rare pipe banner to the 48th Highlanders with the Regimental crest on a blue ground and the crest of the clan Fraser on a red ground of silk, the hole being bordered in bullion fringe. Highland Regimental tradition has it that when an officer is promoted to the rank of Captain or Major they buy a pipe banner for one of the pipers to carry with the officer's family crest.
