The standard issued British wool cap, most famous for its use by Commandos, was universal to British troops. It is not clear if Canadians were ever issued these caps, but the 1st Canadian Corps was in the 8th Army supply chain in Italy and certainly CANLOAN Officers served in British units. A very clean example of the GGBG Forage cap introduced in 1907 and dated 1910. The liner is complete, the exterior has faint moth tracks on the rear of the white band, not visible in the pic it is so faint, and no holes at all.
