91st Canadian Highlanders Pre WWI Full Dress Doublet

The 91st Highlanders are a unit from raised in 1903 in Hamilton. This tunic dates from that era and would have been in use well into the 1930s for parade use. These tunics are often found on the market in rough shape, but this one has its coulour intact and is overall in great condition. The liner is in rough shape and there is a thread loose on one of the doublet panels on the right that needs stitching. The collar badges are present as well as the all of the original KC Canada Militia buttons. The collar tab is present but torn and unreadable. There is some mothing on some of the white piping on the doublet skirts. The tunic displays well and would go nicely with the government kilt offered below. The glengarry and Scottish bonnets were worn with this dress.
