79th Highlander Dress Doublet C.1910

The 79th Highlanders are a unit from raised in 1910. This tunic dates from that era and would have been in use well into the 1930s for parade use. These tunics are often found on the market in rough shape, but this one has its colour intact and is overall in great condition with small moth nip in the middle of the back and on some of the with pipping on the front right skirt. The liner is fine, but the leather collar tab is missing. The two large 79th buttons located at kidney level on the reverse and the collar badges are missing. The tunic displays well and would look great with a diced glengarry or bonnet.
