RCAF Duffle Bag, Blanket and Web Kit

The standard white duffle with blue stripe, named and in good shape. The blue grey webbing includes 2 x back pack straps, 2 x shoulder straps, 2 x blanket straps and a canteen carry harness. Standard issue grey wool blanket included. Typical of what an enlisted aircrew would be issued, all war time dated. I have added a set of ammo pouches, accounting for the slight increase in price.  read more

RCAF Escape Axe

These handy tools were supplied on all of the Bombers in service with the RAF and RCAF to escape the fuselage if and when the aircraft caught fire to escape by parachute before it crashed or blew up. Seconds counted and most aircraft were soft skinned allowing such a tool to be effective. A must have for an air force collector. Dated 1938 and manufacturer marked Chillington with AM stamp.
