Baugh Brothers - Royal Canadian Regiment
This is an amazing pair of South Africa medals to two brothers serving in the same regiment, both Wounded at Paardeberg. Corporal T.E. Baugh 5136 was Wounded at Paadeberg on the 27th February 1900. He was Mentioned in Dispatches by Col Otter for his actions at Paadeberg. He was issued 2 bars with his QSA medal, receiving it the mail at St John Quebec 23 November 1901. The medal has faint ghost dates.
His Brother, Pte Edward George Baugh 3115 was wounded in the thigh at Paadeberg in the first battle on the 18 February 1900. He received his 3 bar QSA medal from the Duke of York 17 September 1901 at Quebec. Both men served in the same Royal Canadian Regiment.
Both medals have minor surface scratches front and back. They do not take away from the importance of this group.
