8th Royal Rifles of Canada 4 Panel Home Service Helmet

Offered is a very nice example of a 4 panel Home Service or overseas pattern helmet c.1900. The badge is original to the helmet and all of the hardware is present. Well labeled and with the correct ventilation on the headband, it has yellowed either by cigarette smoke or storage conditions. should clean up well with some TLC, but requires a conservationist hands or advise to do it properly. A small section of the green cloth lining has also come free and need to be repaired carefully, again with the advice of a professional.
