WWII RCN Winter Cap
Here is a standard cap issued for winter conditions to conduct crew duties on station. It has a wool cloth body with padded crown and felt lined for warmth, ear flaps for cold and a bill to reduce glare. It is dated 1944 and in great condition. A good example of an item that was probably uniquely Canadian and worn with a duffle coat on watch. read more

1861 Pattern Canteen
This canteen was the last pattern manufactured prior to the introduction of the 1874 Italian Style water bottle. What dates the canteen is the raise side wood panels. 48th Highlander Other Ranks Bonnet c.1900
An early bonnet with 4 plumes, red, white and blue checker board base, nice shape, the leather liner and chin strap is missing, the frame is sound and silk tail is deteriorated. 11th Irish Fusilier of Canada Busby c.1914
Offered is a busby to a unit from Vancouver BC that mirrored the traditions of the British Irish Fusiliers. The busby is dated and stamped WD 1914 on the interior. The fur is in grate condition, none of it missing. The badge and proper green plume are present with out signs of rebadging. These pouches were meant to be worn by the 2 on the Bren gun team within a section. It was additional capacity to take on extra Bren mags in the field. 1845 Infantry Officer Sword - Halifax
A lovely sword in very good condition, typical wear, marked by a Halifax distributor. A bright blade with fine etching and no damage. The hilt still has traces of its gilt finish, and the grip has its fish skin and wire intact. The leather scabbard is in good shape with its brass fittings intact, one loose.
