1912 Marksmanship Award

A good example of the shooting award issued during the Edwardian era to Canadian Militia as recognition at official shooting tournaments for outstanding marksmanship. These were worn on the scarlet uniforms on the left arm. An example of this type can be found in Clive Laws book Scarlet to Khaki.  read more

A set of French Officer insignia from the 2nd Empire. The rooster replaced the imperial eagle as the national symbol during this reign and was common to all insignia of the French army of the period. Decent examples of the type, the silver wash finish is well worn.  read more
