Brass Canadian Trench Art vessel
A very clever trench art example made into a vessel for flowers, or kitchen wear or maybe a candle. Constructed of 3 x .303 deactivated cartridges and a small caliber mountain gun shell casing, with a generic Canada cap badge welded to one side and bullets as finishing points. About 5" tall. read more
9th Voltiguer De Quebec Shako
Unlike many rifle regiments, the 9th Voltiguer used the green rifle shako for many years well into the 20th Century, while other units replaced them in the 1870s with a busby. This example was probably issued turn of the century (c.1900) based on the maker label, but later refurbished in the 1960s for parade use. All of the original leather detailing has been replaced with black shiny vinyl, ... read more

Officers Generic Canada Militia Belt Buckle
Here we offer a bimetal generic Canadian Militia officers belt buckle standard issue post 1860. Regimental belt buckles were not in great demand at this time because much of the militia was Company sized with only numeric designations. This particular example is probably field use without much of the full dress glitter often seen on these buckles. Probably worn on the plain white leather swo... read more
Civil Service Rifle Cross Belt Plate
Civil Service SBP listed as MM3 in Mezeas Book Pg 54, was authorized 1866. A fine rare example with all of its screw posts. I have never seen one of these in my 40 years of of collecting. This is very large in comparison to the cap badge, over 5" long. The shako plate is about 3". read more
