WWII Pistol Lanyard

WWII Pistol Lanyard

The pistol lanyard is a concept from the 19th century that tied the pistol to the user with a cord worn around the neck. First introduced with the cavalry for obvious reasons, it would carry through the entire British Commonwealth and included every officer with a pistol, cavalryman and tank crews later. They are still used to this day. It is an under rated tool and every display with a holster should include this item as an issued kit with every pistol. In great condition.
