1876 Universal Helmet Scarlet Pugaree for Infantry

unique item, made as a slip on for an officer helmet, likely a white one was in his duffle to switch out for campaign wear. A number of regiments wore red, including the RCR. I think this will fit a small sized helmet best. Minor wear, and inner liner intact.  read more

Offered are a selection of components or fittings for the white parade Wolseley helmet. The spikes offered were used by most units, the ball type finial by medical and artillery troops.
