Infantry Officer Sword Slings
A set of officer slings with complete functional buckles that are worn under the Infantry scarlets for parade to carry the 1897 Officer Sword. Standard crimson Moroccan leather with gilt lace to the outside, the lion buckles are solid, not cheap white metal knock offs, dating pre WWI, possibly early century. These straps were provided loops on top to slide onto special web waist belts or just a standard trouser belt.
