British Artillery Insignia for Marksmanship c.1870 to 1890s

This framed set of insignia incorporates three pieces of insignia. The bullion Victorian crown is generic, probably worn above the bullion crossed cannons and worn on the bottom left sleeve to recognize an individual for proficiency. The red badge with bullion detailing of guns and a date is typical of a trophy awarded and worn on the left upper sleeve of the tunic. Typical Victorian insignia to encourage and recognize soldiers for excellence in shooting.
