Original Civil War Underpants or Drawers

Offered is an extremely rare issued piece of clothing that would be ideal for filling a back pack or for kit display. These simple white cotton garments were worn out, thrown away or, in some cases never used. Very hard item to find. This has the text book components to include the open fly with two button top closure and cloth adjustment lace on the rear, instead of the buckle found on some versions, with two ties at the ankles. This particular example has stains on its legs, but other wise a very clean well preserved item.
