Victorian Fork and Spoon

A fork and spoon with bone handles typical of the Victorian era that are not issued items. The Canadian Militia were poorly equipped in the victorian era and much of what the soldiers had for eating and drinking were privately owned tin cups and plates with civi cutlery. The troops were not even issued proper canteens until the oliver pattern kit was issued. A nice set at a good price.
