British 1845 pattern NCO Sword

British Sergeant Majors were issued swords through the system, they were not private purchase weapons. This particular example is adorned with a brass hilt with Queen Victoria's Cypher. The sword is BO marked on the plain blade. The leather scabbard is missing its brass drag, but all other furniture is present. The blade is not mint, it has a patina and some minor chips to the blade. A hard to come by pattern of sword in fair condition as an example.
