WWII RCN Winter Cap
Here is a standard cap issued for winter conditions to conduct crew duties on station. It has a wool cloth body with padded crown and felt lined for warmth, ear flaps for cold and a bill to reduce glare. It is dated 1944 and in great condition. A good example of an item that was probably uniquely Canadian and worn with a duffle coat on watch.
