1858 Royal Navy Enfield Cutlass Bayonet
A decent example of the 1858 Cutlass-Bayonet produced for use as both a sword and a bayonet for the Sea Service Enfield Rifle. The slightly curved, flat, pointed blade is 27" long, with a fairly clean surface, with some pitting on one side close to the point. The hilt is in good condition with original paint, the composite black checkered grip complete and sound, the bayonet catch functional. No scabbard.
