WWII Canadian Parachute Bn Badge with Beret
A nice example of the standard WWII issue Airborne Badge with original lugs intact. The beret is maroon, well used, with leather headband and the liner remove. With no liner this beret cannot be dated. These berets were in service for decades after the war and I have no idea if the beret is period or not. The practice of removing the liner to shape the beret was more of a post war practice. It is a throw in with the badge.
