The first book to be published of all of the British Plates for Officers and men of the Regular British Army prior to 1855. This is a rare and desirable book. Filled with line drawings and descriptions of the many patterns of each regiment. A very confusing, but fascinating subject. If you collect plates from British units that served in Canada during the war of 1812 or the 1837 rebellion, this is a must have reference. In good condition missing its dust cover.
