Snider Pouch, Belt and Bayonet

Basic set of the 1867 era Militia of equipment used until 1896. The belt is the early 1854 configuration and buckle with its slides and tongue intact. Marked to 13th Bn. The snider ball pouch is complete, functional and marked broad arrow. The 1853 Bayonet and frog are in very good condition, with the bayonet still bright and marked WD. The scabbard in good condition and the frog has no rivets, making it the first pattern issue c.1855. A very nice complete set of Victorian issue kit to the Canadian Militia in very good condition. You could not do better than this set. Difficult to find with these early issued pieces that make up the basic harness worn in the 1885 expedition to the NW.
