WWI Low Profile Officer Rank for Epaulettes

WWI Low Profile Officer Rank for Epaulettes

In WWI the rank was moved to the shoulder from the cuff in 1918. In order to maintain low profile these pips and crowns were made with no colour enamel or bright brass to maintain camouflage and to avoid high losses of officers being picked off with shiny rank on their shoulders.

This offered set is ideal as a rank table display (2nd Lt to Col) as presented here with the rank pips matched up, including 2 to a rifle regiment. A neat way to educate the public and a great addition to ones WWI insignia collection. All lugs intact.
