1861 Brass Canada Militia Shako Plate - repaired

Standard plate in brass with original lugs, but with what appears to be a repair to the crown. The solder pooled in the crown indicates some kind of repair. If I wear to guess it was to put the cross back on the crown. I cannot tell for sure, the seam is not that obvious. Priced accordingly. A nice affordable example for display.
