GGBG 1907 Forage Cap

A very clean example of the GGBG Forage cap introduced in 1907 and dated 1910. The liner is complete, the exterior has faint moth tracks on the rear of the white band, not visible in the pic it is so faint, and no holes at all. The cloth is not faded nor soiled and the peak is mint. The cap badge dates from the 1920s, not surprising as these caps remained in service a long time. The leather chin strap is missing and the gilt buttons are standard general service UK buttons. A very nice example. If you have the helmet, you should add this to compliment.
