US Ames 1860 Cavalry Sword 1864

A typical 1860 US Army Cavalry sword with an excellent minty blade. Well marked and with its original scabbard. The Hilt outer guard bar has been bent slightly towards the wire wrapped leather grip, but otherwise in very good condition. The scabbard has a nice dark patina and is complete. A good example of this famous sword pattern.
