1914-15 Princess Mary Christmas Gift Brass Tin

The famous Christmas gift issued to every soldier in the line in 1914 and 1915. These tins were issued with cigarettes' and Tabaco or a pencil in the form of a cartridge, including a greeting card from Princess Mary. This tin is in great shape, and contains an original cardboard sleeve with a letter opener made from a cartridge. This item is not the normal content and maybe an add on or makeshift replacement. A nice example.
