WWII Heer Marsh Pattern Camo Smock
Offered is an original WWII Army Smock in the marsh pattern reversible to white camouflage. It is in worn condition with some snags and pulls and fraying at the cuffs, some stitching came free on the left arm pit vent hole. Well marked in the slash pocket with a RBN number and unit mark to a grenadier formation. The face veil is missing, often torn off or removed in the field. It has a Russian museum stock stamp on the interior indicating it as captured war stock, verifying its authenticity. The white lining is soiled with some staining and the waist belt lining stitch has come loose in some areas. The waist tie material is correct for this uniform, however the neck tie has a waist tie in place of the normal string tie. An original, been there worn combat item favoured by snipers and Panzer Grenadiers, like the 21st Panzer Division at Normandy with Splinter pattern helmet covers. A cool item to display kit.
