General Officer Sash c.1870

Offered is a rare general officer sash worn with the 1869 General Officer dress uniform or frock coat for specific occasions. In excellent condition, these are notable by the broad width compared to other junior or field officer ranks sash. See the use with the frock in the picture provided of the general officer commanding Canadian Forces during the 1870s.
