WWII Winter Cap with Veteran Guard Cap Badge

Standard WWII Winter issue cap provided with the great coat at issue. These caps saw limited service overseas, not well liked by the troops, but very warm with the liner and ear muffs. very small tear in the liner edge. The Veteran Guard were tasked with POW Camp security in Northern Canada. These caps are seen used extensively by the Guards on duty at the various internment and POW camps that dotted the country during the war. No mothing and in good overall condition.
