Button Polish Bar

These are a common kit items used to protect the clothing when polishing ones buttons and were often found in the wash roll pouch. There is a train of thought these were never meant to be carried in these rolls because there were no brass buttons to polish in the field. There were brass buttons on the greatcoat, but polished brass in the field was not encouraged. A nice item to have as it was standard issue.
